*hides* Well, it seems like it was my own stupidity after all...

Here is what I got:

"Hello there,

Welcome to Yuku and sorry to hear about your rough start.

Thanks you for calling our blue blob stylish, though we understand that you do not wish to remain a blue blob forever. It does tend to get a tad boring after a few years. Now, let me help you find the correct location where you can upload your avatar. Avatars cannot be uploaded directly to the profile photo album. Gosh I'll make sure to submit a feedback report on that, because it is the most logical place, and the first place one would look. I agree that we should have an upload button there. I will save some aggravation.

In the meantime, go to your profile page and hover to the right of "about me" above the blue blob. An edit option will automagically appear.

Click edit and you will be taken here:

http://insertusernamehere.mistssanctuary.yuku.com/pro/edit

Your quest to find the upload button ends there. You will see a nice, shiny upload button that can be used to upload your avatar.

Now that you have found the upload button, there is one more thing I want to say.... wow! Trying to find an upload button in the avatar folder by manipulating the URL of a different one, I've got to give it to you, this is very, very clever, and it  makes me feel that 1) the edit button to the right of about me should not be hidden and 2)  an upload option needs to be added to the profile photos album. All of this for one reason.. if you are smart enough to manipulate the URL in order to find an upload button in your profile photos album, but you haven't been able to figure out how to upload your avatar the regular way, this tells me one thing loud and clear: It is not user friendly and it has a whole lot of room for improvement.

Thank you. You have just taught us a valuable lesson, and I am not kidding.

I hope you won't have any further problems. In spite of the rough start.. enjoy! (and get some sleep, we'll still be here tomorrow)"
